About PBI

Phoenix Band Instruments (PBI) provides musical instruments for rental or purchase.  We also perform repair and maintenance service on musical instruments. School band instruments that have been refurbished are available for purchase. PBI also produces instruments from reclaimed materials, as well as piano tuning.

Instrument repair services are done by and under the supervision of our founder, Paul Collins - a certified Luthier since 1981.  Paul chose the name Phoenix Band Instruments because the “phoenix” is a long-lived bird that symbolizes renewal through regeneration.  We believe that a good musical instrument needs to be regenerated from time to time.
